Company History

Charntec Electronics, founded in 1979 by Roy Quaife and Paul Chandler to provide sales and service support to manufacturers in the semiconductor and allied industries based in the UK, Ireland and Europe and is proud to be celebrating its 35th year in 2014.

Our extensive product range including wafer handling and measurement, mechanical device handling, precision motion and environmental equipment supplies the semiconductor, optoelectronics, display, MEMS, and optical coating industries as well providing analysis and design to the research and development community.

Charntec also offers a range of consumable supplies such as plain and conductive silicon sponge sheets and adhesives.

All equipment is fully supported from the UK by our team of sales and service support personnel from first contact with customers through the sale, installation and after sales support during warranty.

Charntec also offers a range of service contracts to suit customer's requirements when equipment is out of warranty.
